74 years ago this Omega left the walls of the factory in Bienne. It is not perfect - the gilding is worn in places and there are spider-like cracks on the dial
And yet it looks great - it's hard to believe that in the early 1950s watches were so beautiful even by today's standards. The strongly reflecting rotor of the bumper mechanism is a bit reminiscent of its age and is exotic today, but I don't know anyone who wouldn't like it once they get to know it better.
Despite its age, the mechanism is in good working order and, despite its unknown service history, does not require service at this time.
