Tropical patina is definitely my favorite sign of the natural aging of a watch. Many years of exposure to UV radiation causes the silver dial to turn orange, which becomes more and more intense over the years, giving the watch a unique vintage character. This perfectly suits the character of the Seamaster with thick ears.
