1968 RARE 18K Omega Geneve Chronometer ref. 137.001 cal. 602

Sale price zł7,200.00

Since the 1960s, the Geneve line was the so-called Omega's entry-level line - but with a few exceptions - at the end of the 1960s, Omega decided to release the Geneve Chronometer model, which was to change the perception of the line and be its jewel in the crown. Omega Pod this model based on the legendary cal. 601 has specially created the cal. 602, which was the only one in the Geneve line to receive the title of chronometer. The watch is enclosed in a monoblock case made of 18-carat gold, and the dial is made of this material, which is suggested by the marking OM (Or massif) next to the inscription swiss made. Only around 4,000 of this model were produced, making it extremely rare. It is also Omega's last manual vintage chronometer - the next one was made only after 2000.

The original preserved dial has scratches around index 9 and one at index 2.

A few small cracks in the glass structure - upon request, we can replace the glass with a new one

The case shows traces of polishing in the past and the back is scratched.

Cal mechanism. 602 is freshly serviced and comes with a one-year warranty.
