The Omega Constellation Marine Chronometer is one of those watches that you love or hate, but it must be admitted that it is one of the most important models in the history of the brand and watchmaking. When this model was released on the market in 1974, after 10 years of perfecting the mechanism, it was the most accurate watch in history, with a deviation of only 0.002 s/day, which is still a brilliant result. This watch was the first quartz timepiece in history to receive the title of marine chronometer. Our example has a serial number of 37 million, which means it was produced before the model was officially released in 1973. The watch is on a handmade strap made by the great JF Szymaniak.
